Letter of support
Send a letter of support for the designation of the City of Ottawa as officially bilingual to the mayor of Ottawa, Jim Watson (please send us a copy at firstname.lastname@example.org). A copy of your letter sent to the MPP for Ottawa Vanier, Madeleine Meilleur, who is the Minister responsible for Francophone Affairs and to the Prime Minister of Ontario, Kathleen Wynne, would also be very useful for our cause. (See their coordinates below.)
Send us a donation. Your financial support is important since it helps us to publicize our cause. Donations received are used mainly for publicity and to maintain our Web site. The persons who devote their time and their energy to the Movement for an officially bilingual capital of Canada are volunteers. A list of donors is posted under the Supporters tab. Donations can be sent to Movement for an officially bilingual capital of Canada, 50 Rothwell Drive, Ottawa K1J 7G6.
Another way of helping the Movement for an officially bilingual capital of Canada is by using your personal, organizational or business networks to make people aware of this issue. It can be as simple as sending an email to your friends to suggest that thay visit our Web site (www.capbilcap.ca) or using your social media to do so! The more support we have, the harder it will be for decision-makers to ignore us!
